An Evening with Rabbi Sol Solomon” — conceived, co-written and directed by Dave Lefkowitz and starring Rabbi Sol Solomon — offers the Rabbi’s wit and wisdom on such topics as world religions, intolerance, prayer, the Middle East and other aspects of modern Jewish life. Punctuating the Rabbi’s sermon will be such songs as “Then You’re Jewish,” “I Know What Goys Like” and “When Jewish is What You Are.” Running time: 2 hrs. Parental caution: adult themes, strong language. Open seating. JEWMONGOUS will do a 3-4 song opening set.

Enjoy the comedy and pop stylings of solo artist Sean Altman, founder of Rockapella and widely regarded as the “Father of Modern A Cappella.” Vocal groups of all ages will pay tribute to his song-writing and his role in inspiring the a cappella movement across college campuses and beyond. ShenaniGanns from Gann Academy, Shir Appeal from Tufts University, Manginah from Brandeis University, and professional vocal band Similar Jones will be performing. Sean will sing some of his songs with the groups, sing some solo with his wee guitar and sing some duets with ex-Rockapella bassman Charlie Evett.
